My fascination with mythological creatures is evident in much of my work, and the dragon, perhaps the most popular among all mythological animals, certainly the most imposing and powerful, transcends cultures and eras, being a universal archetype found in the human imagination.
Present in various cultures, such as Chinese, European, Nordic, and even in Latin America, the dragon is revered as a symbol of power, duality, and transformation. In Jungian psychology, it is understood as an archetype that reflects deep aspects of the human psyche, confronting fears and encouraging personal growth.
This year, according to the Chinese horoscope, is the year of the Wood Dragon, a fusion of elements that resonate with the nature and creative energy of the universe. In homage to this energy, which inspires me so much, I see this as an invitation to explore our creative potential and seek personal growth, especially in such difficult times for humanity. May we embrace this journey with courage and gratitude, seizing the opportunities that the wooden dragon offers us. I extend my invitation here to embark together on The Way of the Dragon.
